The League has seen plenty of action recently leading to several changes at the top of the nine Divisions.  At Under 11, Chepstow A have taken the lead in the Premier Division with Llanarth A and Newport A who, crucially the only team unbeaten, two points behind.  Meanwhile, the Chepstow B team, has moved to the top of the First Division East, with Llanarth B just one point behind having already beaten their close rivals but played one game less.  In the First Division West, Rogerstone and Brecon share the lead although Rogerstone are still unbeaten and played two games less than their co-leaders.

As the weather is hotting up, so is the pace in the League and the tables are beginning to take shape.  At Under 11 we have unbeaten teams at the top of the three Divisions.  Newport A lead the Premier after four straight victories as do Llanarth B in First Division East while Rogerstone are unbeaten in three in the First Division West.

At Under 13, there is a three-way tie at the top of the 20-over Division between Llanarth, Ponthir and Abergavenny.  In the Pairs East Division, Chepstow B lead the way but Newport Girls and Sudbrook B are close behind, unbeaten in both their two matches. Pontymister/Cross Keys are clear leaders with three straight wins in the Pairs West Division.

At Under 15, Abergavenny head the Premier Division and, in the First Division East, Usk are just in front of Blackwood A having inflicted on them their only defeat. In the First Division West Blackwood B and Ebbw Vale are locked together at the top although the former won the match between the two.

The good spell of weather has meant the batters have held the upper hand recently.  At U11, five players scored over thirty in their four overs at the crease: Jac Kenchington (Brecon), James Kellaway and Charlie Beddis (both Chepstow), Ethan Jones (Ebbw Vale) and Callum Harrington (Pontymister/Crosskeys).  In the U13 20-over Division five players have now played two innings where they have retired on reaching thirty: Harry Hughes, (Newport), Owen Harris (Monmouth), David Hawkins (Newport Fugitives), Will Heath (Llanarth), and Shay Ryan (Ponthir). While several bowlers had three-wicket hauls, the outstanding bowling performance was by Abby Westwood (Panteg) who took four wickets for one run including a hat-trick
